Mechanical engineers are people who develop and test production technologies that are designed and planned for the production of all types of machine-building equipment and tools based on accepted criteria. This major is suitable for those interested in physics, mathematics, art and computer science.

History of specialization

    One of the first higher education institutions in this field was the present-day Norwich University in 1817 in the United States of America.

The future of specialization

    People continuously improve all the machines and technical means they use. They replace the machines and technical means in operation with new ones that have higher accuracy, performance indicators and productivity, and can replace human physical and mental labor in a wider area. Of course, the mentioned achievements are not possible without the intervention of the engineering industry. That is why in the leading countries of the world, in our republic, special attention is paid to the development of machine building. In the future, the joint, closely related development of the fields of Mechanical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence is one of the most realistic prospects expected in this field.
