Information about Education Department
Since its establishment, the activities of the department have been organized in accordance with the Regulations of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Reforms carried out at the University in recent years, as a continuation of the integration into the European education system, in accordance with the order of the Rector of the University, the Department of Education within the existing staff units "Education Organization and Regulation", "Information" and "Registration" sectors, information system ”,“ Examination center ”,“ Diploma room ”,“ Dispatcher group ”,“ Archive ”,“ Information ”sectors.
Starting from the 2006-2007 academic year, the organization of teaching at the University in accordance with the Bologna Declaration was started. At present, the training of specialists for both bachelor's and master's degrees in all specialties of the University is organized in accordance with the requirements of the European credit transfer system. The organization of education is organized in accordance with the "Regulations on the credit system" of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Department of Education is engaged in all activities related to the organization and content of education and is constantly working to bring the quality of education in line with international standards. This primarily involves the improvement of subject programs and curricula, taking into account the latest achievements of science and technology.
Academic calendar for academic years (for bachelor's and master's degrees), Curricula for specialties, teaching loads, exam schedules, exam questions, organization and examination of classes of students with academic debt, transfer of students, reinstatement to university, Second higher education, academic leave and documentation related to military service, preparation of transcripts, statistics on student movement, approval of graduation topics, defense preparations, etc. covers the general activities of the education department. The department currently employs 14 people.
Head of the department: Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Aliyeva Salmi Saleh gizi has been working at the university since 1992. She graduated from the Azerbaijan University of Languages, was a dissertation student at BSU, until 2018 she was a methodologist in the Department of Education, as well as a teacher, senior teacher at the Department of Foreign Languages, and since 2011 an associate professor. Since 2018, she has been working as the head of the Education Department.
