INTERNSHIP AND CAREER CENTER
The Internship and Career Center (ICC) of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction was established in 2020 as a structural unit under the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the University.
The Center regulates its activity on the basis of the current legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Charter of the University and the Regulations of the Center of Internship and Career.
In carrying out its activities, the Internship and Career Center cooperates with other structural units of AzUAC, public and private enterprises, local and foreign organizations.
The center provides training of qualified specialists in various fields, placement of information on graduates in electronic database, provision of technical, organizational, consulting services to enterprises, organization of internships at various experimental facilities in accordance with the curricula of AzUAC, in accordance with international experience. organizes the work of ensuring the coordination of education, science and production.
During the operation of the Internship  and Career Center, it cooperates with various local and international companies and government agencies. The center works to invite representatives of industries and graduates of AzUAC to the university, to organize various meetings with students.
Organization of short and long-term courses and training programs for production and non-production staff, holding events of various levels, organizing internships for AzUAC students in the country and abroad together with other departments, supporting graduates' job opportunities, etc. . Such issues are also included in the activities of ICC.
Internships for undergraduate and graduate students of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction are planned by the Internship and Career Center in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan on higher education. At present, the Center has a practice-oriented cooperation agreement with about 150 enterprises operating in the country. Under the existing agreements, the last year students of the University, studying at the bachelor's and master's levels, undergo production and research internships at these institutions. The practical application of the theoretical knowledge acquired by students during the internship plays a very important role in their future working lives.
One of the main tasks of the center is to follow the 14-week production experience and eliminate the problems.
One of the important goals of the university is to train well-educated, skilled young professionals for the construction industry, which will play an important role in the economic development of our country in the future. In this regard, one of the most important points for our university is to support graduates and graduates of our university to build their future careers. The career center established at the university in this direction is the first supporter of students and graduates.
The Internship and Career Center has a “Graduate Database” of university graduates, as well as a CV database of students and graduates.
The center also has a constantly updated "Career Opportunities" section. Here, to support graduates and students in their job search, contacts are created with the most advanced companies operating in various fields, creating conditions for students to participate in interviews. The center organizes seminars, trainings, etc. with the participation of a number of our honorary graduates who have successfully built their careers. events are organized.
