Construction Engineering

The bachelor's degree program in "050617 - Construction Engineering" was developed in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Education" and the relevant decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the end of the Education Program, the graduate must have the following competencies:
- Oral and written communication skills in the Azerbaijani language by specialty;
- Communication skills in at least one foreign language (English is more appropriate);
- Systematic and comprehensive knowledge of the historical, legal, political, cultural, ideological foundations of the Azerbaijani statehood and its place and role in the modern world, the ability to predict the future development of our national state;
- Ability to identify threats and challenges facing our national state;
- Ability to use information technology in the workplace;
- Ability to analyze the design of buildings and facilities, taking into account the operational, technological, economic and environmental requirements;
- LIRA, SAP2000, TEKLA STRUCTURES, PRIMAVERA, MATHLAB, MATHCAD, etc. for engineering calculations. ability to implement programs;
- Application of computer programs in the preparation of drawings and details and the ability to prepare technical documents in accordance with the rules of a single design documentation system using computer programs;
- Basic terminology in the field of construction;
- Ability to use computer graphics in the preparation of lines and details;
- Ability to work in different CAD systems;
- Ability to analyze, analyze and examine projects implemented by foreign experts and, if necessary, adapt to local conditions.
