AzUAC Included in UI GreenMetric Ranking for the Fifth Time

 

This year marks the fourth consecutive year that the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) has been included in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, which evaluates universities globally based on their environmental committment. It is noteworthy that the UI GreenMetric Ranking has been published by the University of Indonesia since 2010. AzUAC has secured the 596th position among 956 universities worldwide and holds the top position in the country’s university ranking.

 

 

The ranking assesses six main criteria, including energy efficiency and water conservation, waste management and recycling, the use of environmentally friendly transportation, and more greenery on campus. Additionally, education and scientific activities are taken into account in the ranking.

 

The UI GreenMetric World University Ranking is the only international ranking in the field of ecology, aiming to attract the attention of the academic community to environmental issues and contribute to their solution.
