Memorandum of Cooperation Signed Between AzMIU and the Geography Institute and Seismology Service Center of ANAS

Today, a Cooperation Memorandum was signed between Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) and the Geography Institute and Seismology Service Center of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS). The signing ceremony was attended by the director of the ANAS Geography Institute, academician Ramiz Mammadov, and the president of the Republic Seismology Service Center, Gurban Yetirmishli.

 

Welcoming the guests, the rector of the university, Professor Gulchohra Mammadova, expressed her pleasure in hosting them at the university. She noted that in recent years, there have been productive relations between the university and these institutions. The rector expressed hope that the Cooperation Memorandum, which is the successful outcome of these relations, would open up broad opportunities for both sides. She emphasized that within the framework of the Memorandum, collaboration is envisaged in various projects, events, conferences, and forums, as well as in the fields of science, education, human resources, and other mutually interesting areas. She stated, "The work to be done within the framework of this cooperation will not only be beneficial for the development of education and the economy in our country but will also contribute to the preparation of Azerbaijani youth as specialists suitable for the labor market."

During the signing ceremony, both the guests and the university representatives highlighted that the collaboration would contribute to the preparation of specialists, the participation of university students in various internship programs, and the provision of employment opportunities for university graduates according to their specialties.

Subsequently, the Cooperation Memorandum was signed to formalize the bilateral cooperation.
