Environmental Issues Caused by Gas-Producing Wells Discussed at AzUAC

A scientific seminar was held at Ecology Department of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC), dedicated to the presentation made by Associate Professor Oktay Salamov on the topic of “Analysis of the use of solar energy in obtaining biogas and natural gas mixtures from organic wastes and various types of biomass, considering the ecological problems caused by greenhouse gases generated by fossil fuels”. 

The seminar was attended by faculty members, researchers, and doctoral students.

During the presentation, detailed information was provided about the ecological problems caused by the significant amount of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere during the use of conventional fossil fuels, which are expected to deplete in the near future. 

Discussions were held at the end of the presentation, and fruitful suggestions were provided.
