History of origin

The Construction College under the AzUAC was established by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 195 dated 23.12.2004 and operates by the order No. 47 of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 19.01.2005.

Purpose

From the first day of its establishment, the purpose of the management of the Construction College is to organize education in accordance with modern standards, to train excellent specialists. For this purpose, the College of Construction has built its activities both in teaching and in the education of the younger generation in accordance with the requirements of the time, the advanced standards of AzUAC.
Education at the Construction College is currently conducted in Azerbaijani language. The academic year lasts from September 15 to July 15. The vacation period for students between the fall and spring semesters is 14 days.
The period of study at the college is 4 years for those admitted from the general secondary education base, and 3 years for those admitted from the full secondary education base. The study period of part-time students is 3 years 10 months or 4 years.
In the College of Construction, as in the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, there are training courses in subjects requiring special skills.

As the curricula and subject programs of the specialties in the Construction College are mainly harmonized with the curricula and subject programs of the higher education level, those who want to continue their education in the same specialty at the university have the opportunity to achieve higher achievements at the bachelor's level.
College graduates can be admitted to universities and continue their education.

The experiments are conducted mainly after the theoretical lessons, and in some cases in parallel with the theoretical lessons. Internships are held on the basis of our university and other universities, as well as in leading public and private enterprises, including foreign companies. It is held using the bases of both our republic and foreign companies. Examples include the following companies:

As a result of well-organized and well-organized internships, students gain enough experience in their chosen field of study, and at the same time, the leaders of the internship companies treat students who are successful in their final years as their future potential employees. Some college graduates are currently working for foreign companies.

It should be noted that some companies (for example, KNAUF) have established a "Training-Consulting" center on the basis of the university, and on their request, a relevant specialty ("Manufacture of construction products and structures") was opened at the college.

Action plan

Ishaat College is actively working in the military-patriotic direction. Students' readiness for the army, love for the homeland and readiness to defend it are always in the center of attention.

In order to effectively organize the leisure time of students, a Student Trade Union Committee was established at the Construction College. Excursions to museums, theaters and other cultural centers are organized under the leadership of extracurricular group leaders.

The football team of the College of Construction took an active part in the competition held at the University. They were successful in the competitions "Cheerful and witty", "Who, Where, How".

Various exhibitions, competitions, round tables, etc. are held to reveal the skills and talents of students.
