PR and Media Section

PR & Media (formerly Press and Information) department was established in January 2017. The department under the rector's office establishes business relations with the media and informs the public about innovations related to the university. At the same time, he acquaints the faculty and students with the work done at the university and the tasks ahead. The department is guided by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Education", "On Access to Information", the Charter of the University and other normative legal acts.
The department represents the interests of the university in public organizations, the media, as well as in relations with other educational institutions and individual citizens.
The main task of the department is to promote science, education and other socially useful activities of the university; to cover educational and scientific achievements in local media, websites, television programs; to prepare press releases on events held at the university; To post daily news in the Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages ​​on the website of the University; to prepare responses with the participation of university structures and, if necessary, to take measures to eliminate distortions related to untrue information disseminated in the media about the activities of the university, as well as to promote the university's cooperation with government, public and business structures.
The Press and Information Department also assists in the work of the university's official newspaper, Inshaatchi Kadrlar. The multi-circulation newspaper "Inshaatchi kadrlar" has been published since 1983. Over the past years, the newspaper has always helped the rector's office, faculty and deans of faculties in the educational work carried out at the university, in the patriotic upbringing of our students, and continues to do so today.
The main content of the materials published in the pages of the newspaper "Inshaatchi kadrlar" are the issues of education of university students, the success of our national education, belonging to the Azerbaijani people, patriotism, national solidarity and Azerbaijanism.
Each issue of the newspaper always covers the scientific achievements of our students and teachers, the purity of the Azerbaijani language, the purity of our spirituality, as well as articles supporting the domestic and foreign policies of our President. The university administration always pays attention and care to the activities of the newspaper.
PR & Media department together with “Inshaatchi kadrlar” newspaper promptly informs the public about the important events held at the university through the website.
