Presentation of Our Students' Design Projects are to be Implemented in Various Locations in Baku [30.09.2022]

The presentation of design samples prepared by students studying in the design specialty of the Faculty of Architecture of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) was held for the Seaside Boulevard Administration, the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, and the "Sandıgcha" stores network. 

A preliminary review of the works prepared within the framework of the project "Creating the interior of a temporary, retail-oriented small architectural volume in the public space" was conducted, and recommendations were given.

 

The administration of AzUAC, the professor-facultystaff, students, and guests from the Seaside Boulevard Administration and the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum attended the presentation, organized by the Italy-Azerbaijan Design Center.

 

 

Farid Karimov, the head of the Italy-Azerbaijan Design Center, gave a speech providing information about the project and noted that the implementation of such projects is very beneficial for students and working on real projects allows them to gain more experience.

 

Nargiz Abdullayeva, Vice-Rector and Professor of AzUAC, thanked the students and talked about the work done at the university in preparing specialists in the field of design. The Vice-Rector noted that along with other specialties, the experiences of leading world universities in the field of design are regularly studied and applied in teaching at AzUAC.

 

Chingiz Mammadov, the head of the Seaside Boulevard Administration, and Shirin Malikova, the director of the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, PhD in Art, touched upon the importance of the project in their speeches and emphasized the necessity of developing cooperation in this direction. The guests closely got acquainted with the projects proposed by the students and praised them.

 

At the end, certificates were presented to the students for their participation in the project. The winners were rewarded with special motivating gifts.

 

It should be noted that in the future the realization of successful design samples prepared within the framework of the project at the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum and in the Seaside Boulevard area is also not excluded.
