Quality Control Center Hosts Next Seminar For Teachers

 

The Quality Control Center of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) organized the next seminar on “Application of Modern Methodologies and Technologies in the Teaching Process” at the Faculty of Water Supply and Engineering Communications. More than 50 professors and teachers from various faculties of the university, including department heads N. Mammadov, M. Hajiyev, A. Mammadova, F. Latifov, and the rector’s advisor I. Mardanov, participated in the seminar.

 

The director of the Department of Engineering Systems and Construction of Devices, N. Mammadov, and the associate professor of the Department of Economic Theory and Marketing, K. Agayeva, spoke about the importance of the event.

 

Associate Professor Samira Akbarova from the Department of Engineering Systems and Construction of Devices delivered a comprehensive presentation on the topic “Application of Modern Methodologies and Technologies in the Teaching Process.” In her presentation she talked about the new methodologies she has applied to make classes more interesting, meeting modernrequirements, and with high quality, to be mastered by students more easily and quickly, and shared her own experiences.

 

Following the presentations, the participants of the seminar engaged in discussions around the topic, expressed their opinions, and clarified questions that arouse.

 

It is noted that the aim of conducting series of seminars isto educate teachers on the proper application of modern methods and techniques in the teaching process to enhance the quality of education, introduce new approaches to teaching methodology, and at the same time to facilitate exchange of experiences among teachers. The next seminars are planned to be held at the Faculty of Construction and Transportation of the University.
