Today, at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC), the "Clean City" Center organized the next informative seminar, as part of the organization of the Strategic Planning Department. The seminar, which has become a tradition, was conducted by a representative of the "Clean City" OJSC. The seminar, led by Engineer Jahangir Mammadzade from the Environmental Protection and Conservation Department of the "Clean City" OJC, attracted first-year students specializing in Environmental Engineering from the Faculty of Water Management and Engineering Communication Systems. Initially, the company representative provided students with comprehensive information about the organization. The seminar focused on topics such as "Household waste as an alternative energy source" and "Disposal of household waste in landfills." It discussed the works carried out in the relevant factories to extract energy from waste and highlighted the principles of managing household waste. The students were informed about the activities of the Waste Incineration Plant by the representative of the shareholder company, emphasizing that, due to its production capacity, it is the largest facility of its kind in Eastern Europe and the CIS. The topic presented with the presentation aroused great interest among the students. It is worth mentioning that the seminars held at the "Clean City" Center of AzUAC are very beneficial for students specializing in relevant fields of study, as they obtain extensive information about the field they will work in the future.
