Foreign students preparation faculty
History and mission. The Preparation faculty of foreign students was established at the University of Architecture and Construction in 1984.
Education in the faculty. The foreign students who intend to study in preparation faculty are supposed to present the documents of previous subjects and their grades, petition to the name of president of the University for entering the prepration faculty (with displaying professional and studied language), medical certificate and official AIDS analysis paper that is recognized by Ministry of Health, copy of passport or identity card (with the visa of Azerbaijan Republic), autobiography, 8 photos in size 3x4. The contract is assigned between foreign student and the University.
The academic year is 1 year in preparation course. Language preparation period is between 3 and 8 months. Foreign citizens are registered in the Migration department of Azerbaijan Republic. When the foreign student graduates from the preparation faculty succesfully he or she gets certification of appropriate profession and language.
The subjects. The education is excuted in Russian and Azerbaijan language but in Architectural faculty it is in English. Except language subjects are taught math, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, history, information science and etc.
International relations. Preparation faculty of foreign students have collaboration contracts with Ankara and Gazi Universities of Turkey Republic, “Turkish educational centers", Tabriz University of Islamic Republic in Iran, Moscow State University of Russian Federation, University of Nation’s Friendship of Russia and The Preparation Faculty of Moscow Automobile Roads University. In this faculty study students from Turkey, Pakistan, Afghan, Sri-Lanka, China Nation Republic, Palestine, Jordine, Russia, Irak, Turkmanistan
Faculty. There are 2 professors, 17 candidates of science, assistant professors, 58 teachers.
