Rector of AzUAC, Professor Gulchohra Mammadova took part at the preliminary meeting of Association of Turkish Universities in Istanbul University on March 28-29
On March 12, 2013 it was signed a memorandum between Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction and Energy Saving International AS on cooperation in the field of Energy efficiency and raising energy efficiency in buildings.
It was held "Erasmus Mundus Info Day" at Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction on January 30, 2013.
On October 12 rector of the AUAC Gulchohra Mammadova met with resident representative of AgencyAzerbaijan office of Korea International Coopeation (KOICA) Kim Eun Suk and coordinator of the program Saida Saidli.
The rector of 204-year-old educational center Prof. Vladimir Bumbashirevich, vice-rector of Belgrade University Prof. Marko Ivetich, director of Arco Project Company, Professor of the University Peter Arsich, representative of UNESCO on education, science and culture issues of UNO, Professor of the University Jovan Despotovich met the student and teacher staff of AUAC.
On October 18-24, 2012 in Ankara (Turkey) was held conference of international Net cad users. Our university was represented in the event by pedagogue of department of engineering geodesy.
It was held event and scientific conference dedicated to 90th anniversary of Georgian Technical University on September 18-20, 2012 in the capital of Georgian Republic in Tiflis. Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction was represented at the anniversary event by honored architect of Azerbaijan, academic of Eastern Countries International Architecture Academy, head of the department of basis of architecture Professor Nizami Nagiyev.
On July 15-25, 2012 of this year student delegation consisted of 2 groups of our university visited Eastern Mediterranean University to participate the training programs of “Business language” and “Moodle Systems Software in Architecture and Construction Curriculum Development”
On 01-27 July, 2012 6 students of master of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (5 of them students of architecture faculty, 1 of them transportation faculty) participated in internship in different offices of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality of Turkey.
On May 30-31, 2012 Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction with ECMHT- the European Training-Information Center in Baku and “EMERGENCY” Association held international scientific-practical conference dedicated to “Modern problems of fight against emergency in connection with globalization”.
On May 07, 2012 in the conference hall of AUAC was held the presentation of the company “Microsoft Azerbaijan” named “the application of electronic services at AUAC”. In the conference participated the representatives of rectorate, pro-rectors, the faculty deans, heads of departments, students and the general director of “Microsoft Azerbaijan” Rufat Hajialibeyov and the chief of the program “Prtnership in education” Emin Akhundov.
On 25-29 April, 2012 it was held the International Baku Conference – ‘’Under pressure heritage –perspectives of historic landscapes of the cities" with the joint partnership of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Republic, UNESCO's World Heritage Centre, ICCROM and ICOMOS organizations in consultative bodies, and also Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction with the joint partnership of Italian Romualdo Del Bianco Fund. 
In the training Center of the Ministry of Education were held trainings to the second-year students of the faculty of "Water industry and engineering communication systems" by the international expert professor of the Zigen University of German Gerd Forkh and employees of our university professor Adil Azizov, senior Elkhan Dadashov on themes "Environmental monitoring", "Protection of ground water and periodic water systems in production”.
On 24-28 April, 2012 was held the Baku international regional festival of student’s diplomas "Degree and profession" within the framework of partnership between our university and Foundation Romualdo Del Bianco of Italy. On April 12, 2012 the specialists of “ECOLINE” company in the city of Tolyati of the Russian Federation held seminar for teachers and students of the faculty of “Water industry and engineering communication systems” on theme "Economy-welfare waste water treatment".
Since 2008, it has begun to implement the project "The institutional building and human resources development of the e-education in the South Caucasus" by the organization of the German International Cooperation (Giz) started to implement in South Caucasus countries. Our university has been joined to this project since 2011. The next event of the project and face-to-face training was organized on April 02-04 in our university. Oztoprak, the rector advisor on Azerbaijan project management of International Promotion Office Imran Mukhtarov and International Promotion specialist Irada Shirinova were met with rector of our university Prof. Gulchohra Mammadova. 
December 13-18, 2011, rector of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction Doctor of architecture professor Mammadova Gulchohra and PhD, associate professor of the Departments “Architectural constructions and restoration of the monuments” Hajiyeva Sabina have been participated in the ceremony of signing of Memorandum of Understanding between authorities of Florence and representatives of different organizations and Universities invited by Foundation of Romualdo Del Bianco.
On December 21, 2011 the 3-member delegation from the city Seoul of South Corea was guest in the faculty of Water economics and enginnering communication systems of our university.
