Master

Referring to the regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers’ decision number 15 “About Master degree”, dated 13.02.1997, Masters' degree is started to act at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.

One can see from this schedule that each year the number of the students have been increasing.

In Master Degree education has two forms: full time and postal tuition, with government order and on paid bases and subjects are trained in Azerbaijani and Russian languages.

According to the educational curriculum 4 weeks research is carried out in the first course, in the second course 4 weeks scientific-pedagogical practice is implemented. The main purposes of training these practices are to help master students to learn pedagogical methodic and contribute his acquaintance with well-known scientific research works.

Bachelor students are able to apply for master degree of all Universities.  

The entrance for master professions is grouped by entrance programs. Entrance exams are held in two stages. In the first stage are tested bachelor’s general intellectual level (IQ), informatics and foreign language. The results of the first stage is tested by the format of The State Commission for Students' Admission and students passing first stage are able to get to the second stage and in the second stage is tested the students’ knowledge of chosen profession. The bachelor students of Azerbaijan sector have the opportunity to choose English, French, German or Russian languages but the students of Russian sector  have the opportunity to choose English, French and German.

Master students have the chance to participate actively in scientific conferences and scientific-practical seminars, to use training laboratories equipped with modern technical equipments, internet centers, scientific and literary books fund, to train in scientific laboratories of the University, to practice in the institutions of AMEA, have the opportunity to continue their PHD and Master education in advanced Universities of European countries.

Here in our University study local and foreign students as well. Graduates of Master from our University successfully work in scientific and educational enterprises, public administration and law enforcement agencies, foreign companies. Master education is the inseparable and dynamic part of higher education which plays very significant role in training of professional specialists.

According to the confirmed decision under N 15 from 13.02.1997th year the Cabinet of the Azerbaijan Republic about “preparation for magistracy", since 1997 at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction the magistracy department has been created.
