There is a large library and Internet at the University. There are also large reading-halls and computer-rooms in all buildings of the University. The University has got a department for Masters' degree, post-graduate courses, a scientific-research department, a practical training department.

Social organizations play a great role in the life of the University. 1300 membered students' Trade Union and Students'-young People's Organization work at the University. The students are able to enjoy from their free time.

They have "Ocaq" (Fire) students' club, chess club, sport-grounds and students' cafes. 

There is students' polyclinic at the University, and a sanatorium-preventive clinic at the students' hostels. 
The University has its own newspaper "Inshaatchi kadrlar" (Builders) which elucidates and deals with the students lives on its pages.
