INTERNATIONAL DESIGN COMPETITION FOR THE COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL MARKING THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE Romualdo Del Bianco Foundation of Florence

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its establishment, (November 3rd, 2008) the Romualdo del Bianco Foundation of Florence is calling for an international competition for the creation of the commemorative medal model to be reproduced and used during its award ceremonies. Each medal model shall contain:

1. the graphic expression, “Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco” and its motto:

“For PEACE in the WORLD, among YOUNG PEOPLE from DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, through CULTURE
Meeting, Getting acquainted, Understanding each other develop friendship among People”

Which over the years developed into:

“INTERNATIONAL INTEGRATION with no competition, within a framework of respect for individual identity,
DISCOVERING THE PAST TOGETHER, BUILDING A COMMON FUTURE”

2. a graphic symbol summarising the above-mentioned principles. Thus, special attention shall be paid to all those proposals drawing inspiration from the social values of Cohesion, Meeting, Exchange, Brotherhood, Friendship, Joy, Enthusiasm, Youth and therefore Peace.

The Romualdo del Bianco Foundation already has a logo (see www.fondazione-delbianco.org); the medal model presented by each candidate shall contain features well differentiated (both in form and combination) from the Foundation logo, on pain of being excluded from the competition.
